This medium size double door depository safe from Bridgeman is part of the International Fortress line. Each safe compartment has its own locking mechanism. Dropped funds deposit into the top safe. Bottom safe is independent. This safe is made of heavy-duty construction with a 1/2” solid plate steel door. Its front-loading drop slot has a smooth mailbox type mechanism and is fish-resistant – International Fortress depository safes incorporate an anti-fish baffle to deter a common method of theft where employees and burglars attempt to ”fish” the safe contents through the deposit drawer. The bolt detent feature keeps the chrome-plated bolts retracted inside the door to prevent damage to the bolts as the door is closed. When the door is fully closed, the locking bolts automatically extend in the safe body, locking the door. Lock choices are double-nose dual control key lock, combination lock, or electronic lock (pictured). (Contact U.S. Bank Supply if a more complex electronic lock is desired.) All locks are protected by a drill-resistant hardplate. The "relocker" mechanism contains a spring-loaded device that disables the safe if there is a forced entry.
